Narvaez is the one who hit into the double play.  

Our top 3 hitters in the lineup--Anthony, Bregman, and Duran--are hitless.  Story scored the only Sox run and Rafaela drove him in.

This team was 63-57 last year at this time 7 games out of first.   This team is positioned to be another 500 or less team like they were a year ago.  There is just no it factor.  Can’t beat good teams on the road or at all for that matter. Not constructed to compete with the big boys.

Talk about a crap shoot. Here we are in August, and we're still dealing with mediocre outings by Buehler. 

Other than 4 walks and 2 homers..............yep other than the bullet in his head, Lincoln enjoyed the show....

Sox score 21 runs in a 3 game series and lose 2 of them.

After this loss we will have 56 losses-same as the Yankmees and Cleveland-behind Seattle. Someone isn’t going to be playing in October. 
Seattle and Houston are tied.

Objectively. Buehler pitched an OK game. not great or shutout but winnable. But got beat by a better pitcher who shutdown the big stat. low clutch run scoring.machine of the Sox.

So tired of hearing/seeing the stats about what hitters we have.

19 games with 10 or more runs scored can make looking at total runs for the season misleading . Like I posted earlier the Dodgers lead MLB in runs scored and have only had 5 games where they scored 10 or more runs.
