You’ve heard of the announcer’s jinx.  We’re blaming you for your poster’s jinx😉

I deserve that.  Looks like maybe Fitts just ran out of gas.

Before anyone loses their shite, remember the White Sux just recently badly beat the O's.

As bad as they are, they still win 1 out of 5 games on average.

Just heard both runs were unearned. Add those to the never ending list.

Also a gross error by me.  I didn't see that misplay by Casas.  Grounders are in fact his weakness.  And yes, both runs are unearned thanks to Casas.

Abreu ties it up with the Sox second solo dinger.

Not that it matters, but was that one run against Fitts unearned?

Both unearned.  The error started the inning (1 out).  Valdez’s good play would have been the second out and the fly to center that moved Roberts to 3rd would have ended the inning (I.e., the chopper that scored him doesn’t happen).

He may have been a little gassed, but it was Casas who opened the doors to those 2 runs.

Bulletin just in--- Sox officially losing to the Sox despite Weissert's best effort, and inability to hit

Giving credit where credit's due, Flexen may have something to do with the SOX impotence.

Abreu draws a lot of trade talk as being the guy who , as part of a deal, could bring a good #2/#3 pitcher.   That puts a lot of confidence in Anthony to become a productive MLB'er

Tough break for Beni. Thank goodness it didn't bounce out of his glove in that 2018 PO game against the Astros.

I remember in 2018 I'd posted "Beni and the Betts'' a lot.

Speaking of 2018, there were 3 teams that won 100 or more games. All of them in the AL;

The SOX, Astros and Yankems.

This season there wont be any AL teams reaching 100 wins. In the NL, only the Phils and Dodgers have a shot of 100 wins, but both would have to finish the season 15-5.

Fellows, with a record of 3-4 against an historically bad team like CWS, there is your season in a nutshell.  Baltimore , NY and Rays on tap for the next 10 . I'll say 3-7.

2024 is officially over  as far as being competitive.
