There was someone today starting for the Tigers who had a very good ERA and had an 0-3 record. In his 5 starts for the Tigers his team provided him with 3 total runs.

The simple fact that you name at least 3 of my bothood Sox favorites on the mound makes JAD a winner in the game of life. Ike Delock was a machine, but Tom Brewer often was a pinchrunner in late innings.

McGuire is an idiot. First he gambles on a very tough play, one that is clearly not part of his repertoire, and brings home the 2d Twins run without getting an out. Then he does his best to screw up Uwasawa's concentration by first insisting his glove is broken and second by going out to the mound to talk gibberish--I'm positive he is not fluent in Japanese--to Uwasawa and throw him even further off.

 

moonslav's CERA stats are complete bs. Wong is a much better catcher than McGuire.

Got a bad feeling tomorrow if they don’t one out early and score. The longer the game remains 0-0 the tighter the sticks will get. This bruins group the last 6 years or so is prone to choking.
