Ben Brown, rookie with fair stats so far. 3.72 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 18 K's in 19.1 innings vs Josh Winckowski. Josh only has 2 issues, the 1.80 WHIP and the fact that he is not a starting pitcher .. Just a guy trying to do a job because his predecessors are not able to be there.

 

If the Sox simply cannot hit at Fenway, then just say so and we'll all save time. Somebody needs to help Duran. When he was on base, slashing to LF, it was great. Get back to it, my man Duran.

We made it through 14 games before needing SP'er depth. Since Criswell's start in game 15, we have use depth guys 5 times in 13 games:

Our RHPs have done better vs LHBs than RHBs, so far, so I'm not sure we really need a token LH'd RP'er to go along with Bernardino.

Interesting that the initial diagnosis after the original MRI was a cracked rib. Happy to hear that wasn't the case.

Prescient call . Duran messed up by being on base, breaking O'Neill's string of solo HR's. Interesting that Jarren went to left taking advantage of the home field quirks. When he was hot earlier in April he was going to the left side continuosly and hitting well. He and Yoshi both prosper when slashing the ball to left side.

With Garrett Cooper just traded to the Red Sox , and Grissom joining this week, the Sox will only be carrying Rafaela’s weak bat in the lineup.
