Senga's coming into Fenway tonight pitching like a stud. In his last 8 starts, he has a 2.45 ERA, .175 BAA, and 31% K rate. In his 2 starts in July, he pitched 14 innings, 2 R, 3 BB, 21 K.

 

Over the past month, batters have swung at 46 forkballs and whiffed 30 times.

I have MLB TV. I live in Maryland and knew I would get blacked out of Nationals and Orioles games.. for some reason the app is now blacking out Mets and Yankees games also? What the hell is this ********

I can guarantee that the blackouts of games have to do with money. Money trumps everything. Also, nowadays, one pays more to get less.

While I agree the big bats ain't hitting so far tonight, what really pisses me off is that Crawford, like Bello and Paxton before him, seems to have caught dinger fever. So, if we assume the Sox bats start to come around, Crawford has more gopher balls in his miniscule bag of tricks. Tonight he stinks. So did Bello his last time out. So did Paxton July 15.
