Ahem. He just walked off the mound. Just maybe he’s been nursing an injury.

That may turn out to be a real possibility and Cora, unbeknownst to us was holding him back , maybe some forearm soreness that wasn't clearing itself up ?

Seriously, the way pitchers are babied do you really believe a manager would allow a pitcher with any type of arm soreness to pitch? Maybe it was caused due to lack of use.

It would be a great outcome to see a 6 run inning by Boston take this otherwise weak night and propel it into space.

Let’s see now. 2 days ago the Sox had 13 pitchers including 6 starters (pivetta should never be allowed to pitch in relief).

Of the 7 relievers, Winck and Jansen and Bernardino are suspect. Bleier might be. Brasier is gone. Schreiber is headed for the IL.

Who’s left?

Dugo has lost his mojo. He needs to find a way back to the All Star caliber play/hitting he featured in April, early May. Getting too anxious and jumping at bad pitches.

It's definitely not funny, but now that Devers is hitting most of the other LH's have stopped.

Shades of early April returning

Dave Busch stay in the dugout. You coming out is not going to help this BP that was so good the ist month, but now looks mostly like mop up guys.

Bleier throws 18 pitches, gets one out, gives up multiple hits, HR, runs and generally is not competent for MLB level pitching

Now that the Dollar Store is charging more than a dollar for items, JH has told Bloom not to shop for players there anymore.

I’d say the Sox bullpen is in full collapse. This is the fourth straight game in which they have opened the floodgates. The four Sox starters in those games went 24 innings while giving up 10 runs. The bullpen 12 innings so far and 18 runs.
