OK. Could have been worse. No big blows, but a little of clean singles. Plus Devers could have gotten a pretty good GIDP--assuming, of course, Wong would have had enough time to get the guy going to 1b. Even with that, however, I think the Phillies still get the 1 run.

The real difference today is the Phillies starter Walker has been very effective.

Could have been worse! This offense has to do something. They have done nothing

Some credit to the Phillies pitcher. He looks to me as though he as pretty good stuff today. That splitter looks pretty effective, but so are his other breaking balls.

Now it's up to Houck to stabilize his game. He did do that in a previous start when he completed 6 innings after a mini-blow up

I know his ERA is high this year but he’s legitimately good. He’s had a solid career.

Walker has been with so many teams. Idk maybe he’s an inconsistent pitcher idk.

Dugo is playing a gold glove caliber right field this season.

Meh. His DWAR to date is 0.0.

That said, I really like him in RF, much more than in LF where the Sox had him until last season.

Great inning by Houck taking into account the bullet that Marsh hit right at Dugo.

Just for the record. Sox starters have not often gone 5 innings giving up just 2 runs this season.

I go by the eye test. He has been great in RF this season.

Meh? You're just still bitter that Betts is gone. You've gotta get over it.
