Not sure what you’re trying to say here. 5 RBIs in 7 games pace extrapolates to 115 for the season. We’d take that.

 

OTOH, 10 in 30 is 54 RBI pace. That is pathetic for a cleanup hitter.

 

Yup, I was confused also. What I'm not confused about is I wouldn't trade Devers for both Bogey and JD. And I'm pretty sure most GM's wouldn't either.

I'm loving what I'm seeing from Kutter, but let's remember, this recent period of success is only 2 plus games long.

 

In his first 10 games, this season he had a 6.41 ERA aND AN .835 OPS Against.

 

I think he needs to shine a bit longer to pencil him in as a rotation lock.

 

I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer: I'm all for riding the hot hand.

1) 2nd and 3rd with no one out is a very tough situation

2) he’s been so good for so long that sooner or later he’s not going to have it

 

Given the bullpen issues lately, can’t blame Cora for rolling the dice with Crawford, but IMO he waited one batter too long

They just aren’t good enough in any facet of the game
