Pivetta is really in a nice groove.

I hope he can keep it up.

I gotta think Refsnyder has earned a longer look than maybe originally envisioned.

Would you take Laureano for Verdugo heads up right now ? Not necessarily, but maybe since he is a RH hitter, not showing enough power though

Both Dugo and Story have been invisible offensively, but the SOX are still winning. I believe both will get their groove back at the plate.

Yankees still leading Rays in the 8th 2-0 and threatening more. I'd rather see the Rays lose at this point so we can close on them

I've only been to Fenway once and that was back in 2012. When they say "everything is greener on the other side," they're referring to Fenway Park.

Still the most clear memory of childhood was walking up the ramp from the concourse and upon reaching the top seeing the green of Fenway and the grass and realizing that this was the field of dreams. Seeing #9 play live was the imprimted at that time. He hit 2 @ 3 run HR's that day to beat the Orioles 8-6. Never forget it.

I envy you. Seeing Teddy Ballgame at Fenway; it doesn't get any better than that. And, as most of us know, he missed almost 5 seasons in his prime.

I always like to tell my friends that Ted Williams was in real life what John Wayne was in the movies. They even had a slight resemblance to each other.

That feeling of walking up the ramp is something that I still feel every single time. And I've been to 8-9 games now just in the year I've lived in Boston

I'll be sure to let you guys know if going to a game ever gets old, but I highly doubt it

Having watched Fever Pitch about a thousand times, I'm sure it never gets old.

We need to see Story snap out of this second long funk of the season.

I'm glad we are still winning without his offensive help, and his D has been outstanding, recently, but he needs to get back on track.

Good to see our starters staying in a prolonged groove, and the pen seems to be avoiding major meltdowns every other day.

On e game at a time, guys!

Definitely, one game at a time.

Tomorrow Cora's going with his ace, a lefty/righty with the initials TBD.

What does get old, however, is standing crotch to crotch on the green line with other 18-25 year olds, those who, unlike myself, are prototypical 18-25 year olds

I am on my way to the game. Picked up some student 9s. Great night for a CPA exam study break

I broke my brain yesterday by doing CPE for Church Taxation and Blockchain Technology.

What's worse is when I have to sit through a CPE at work that is literally a concept that is on REG but only 1000x more specific. I try to tune out so that I don't overcomplicate things for my exam, which is on Friday btw

Work CPE is just a level of Dante's Inferno that I never want to go through again. I remember so many instances of partners just sitting in the back openly reading newspapers instead of paying attention. Other partners would basically beg for any meeting to count towards CPE.

These days at big national firms like mine they are all online so at least I can do something else during it. When I work from home, I sit in bed and watch TV during CPEs. It's a 1 way webcast. We can see the presenter but they can't see us

At least the food is typically good when it's in person and at a hotel. Otherwise, you just focus on your meditation and pretend you are anywhere else. The afternoon cookie break was definitely not worth it.
