The hitting is definitely picking up , with only 3 regulars still below the .200 line. The other 3 questionnables are up to .204; .212 and .214

 

of the 6, the highest OPS is the .583 of Verdugo, followed closely by Story's .579, and he just got a hit.

The Rangers have a team batting average of .219, compared to the SOX .229, but the Rnagers have scored 13 more runs than the SOX.

With 20% of the season passing tonight, the regulars , other than Raffy,X,JDM, have about 600+ PA's so far. Call it a full season equivalent. Those 7 guys , including Plawecki, have a total of 8 HR's and about 60 RBI's while batting .200 . This is why we are trailing the Orioles. That and a mixed up bullpen.
