Davis of Greenville with the only tater of the night, his 6th of the season.

Walter threw a spectacular game. Only gave up 1 hit over 7 innings striking out 8. The one hit was a meatball he served up! Keep walter away from Hartford and he is absolutely incredible! If he keeps this up, he will need a ticket to Worcester!

Promote Seabold & Winckowski, and maybe Fitzy (demote Bobby Dee).

I don't care who we demote or DFA: just do something!

The best thing about this game was that Bello did not have his best stuff and was struggling to throw strikes. But he got through the first 4 innings without giving up a run despite a lot of base runners.

He ran out of gas in the 5th inning, though!

Koss with an 8th inning grand tater in Portland! His 5th tater of the season.

Ps: why is granberg still in Portland?

I don't think they have high hopes for Granberg or Northcut.

That being said, I think nthey have room for him on the Woo roster.

Koss has really come to life. We got him for Yoan Aybar.

Maybe he needs to be at Woo.

McDonough is now 4 for 5 for Greenville, who was up 8-3 but now down 10-8. Edited by moonslav59

Where would he play? Downs is at SS.

Move Downs to 2B? Have Koss play 2B? Koss is supposedly much better at SS.

He is Rule 5 eligible this offseason. May need to get a good look at him.

We all know Downs will never play SS for the Sox. Even 2B is a stretch. Maybe we keep him there to improve his trade value, but his stock is not going up and may never again.

I'd play Koss at SS and move Downs to 2B or another team.
