Speaking of lawyers, as soon as this game is officially over I'll be watching the 4th and final season of GOLIATH starring Billy Bob Thornton. Billy Bob is my favorite actor, who redefined Xmas movies with BAD SANTA.

Like Cole not having 2 bad games in a row I don’t think Eo would either, so Eo over Sale against the Yankees.

I'm hoping Cora has them both available so he can pull the plug real quick if one or the other cannot get 3 outs without giving up a run in the 1st inning

My man Matt's presence on the mound indicates Cora's saving of the core bullpen for tomorrow. Great opportunity for Barnes to find his courage and get people out

Every pitch to Stanton and then Gallo was a curveball or change until barnes/Vaz decided to go FB and end the 22 pitch effort with no damage. Good for Barnes.

I don’t have a problem with that. Barnes has to find his curve to be effective. Better to try and find it in this type of game than one that’s close.

That long fly by Judge and the hard hit ball by Stanton didn't fill me with 'our closer is back.'

Big hit by Devers to show a little fight back. JD should play in one of the 21 ballparks that his flyball would have been an HR. Here's a suggestion for one Yankee Stadium

Note that the 3 run rally was totally facilitated by Rizzo's failure to snag the line hugging groundball shot by Schwarber. Interesting juxtaposition

If the f'ing chUMP is supposed to call the pitch before it hits the catcher's glove, then what's all this shite about framing?

The approximately 5 milliseconds it takes for the ball to travel from the plate to the catchers glove is not really perceptible to the human eye.

If you had told me early on that Martin Perez was pitching the 7th inning tonight, I would have guessed that the score was something like 7-3 NY,and that Perez would give up a bomb and rope immdiately
