About damn time.

I might just have to scoop up some Student 9s. Grocery shopping and laundry can wait

Sale day has been a long time coming, I’m looking forward to seeing him back on the mound showing his usual staunch attitude.

I am beyond excited for this game. Man oh man this feels like it has taken forever to come. I am so happy to see him back

As a Sox fan , I'm looking forward to watching Chris Sale pitch again today. And watching the Red Sox pummel the O's. But as a baseball fan , I don't have much interest in watching it. It is a shame and embarrassment to the game to see a once proud franchise like Baltimore put such a shoddy product on display. Outside of a couple of guys , this is not a major league team. Please Baltimore , either spend some money or sell the team to someone who cares.

Hate to see a hitter take one off his hand. When did trainers stop using that freeze spray stuff, and why did they stop using it? I haven’t seen that used in years.

Probably ancient. Don’t they just get a shot now for pain?

At least they do in NHL

Was it liquid nitrogen?

It wasn’t for pain. It was to freeze the area to keep the swelling down.

No, but it was never a great idea. Less than controllable in use and often unpredictable in application.

If you can't control the swelling with plain old ice, best to let it be as opposed to a spray intending to play through it.

Ooooooh really? I didn’t think I have seen that before to be perfectly honest. Not sure what that would be.

Did Ecks just say “Sale has never thrown 100?”

WHAT!!! He used to do that every other pitch. What is he talking about???

The O's are 7th in fielding in MLB based on fielding percentage. This just magnifies how bad the O's pitching is. Btw, the SOX are 27th.

Yikes

Well with Sale pitching like this, we won’t need fielders hahaha. He has looked extremely good through two.

Wonder how many innings we give him.
