Erod raises his hand

Yup have a lot of garbage after eovaldi and i been very disappointed with pivetta. He has been awful his last 3 starts.

Why does Pivetta get a pass when discussing bad SOX starters?

Because in the land of 10 lb. turds the 5 lb'er is King

Someone has got to explain to me why Cora likes Vazquez so much. He leads MLB in passed balls and does little to prevent wild pitches. He's lost his ability to throw out base stealers and in fact these days regularly makes terrible throws (along with some good ones). He takes way too many chances on the basepaths--like he's invisible and can go anywhere he wants to. And he ain't hitting.

Tonight he got that single and then stupidly choked off the rally by trying to get to 2b on a single. And he sure as heck wasn't helping Perez any.

Cora has a peculiar bias that has been evident over his time as manager for marginal guys . Can't quite fathom it but not hard to see.

I agree with much of what you posted, but, really, there is no help for Perez.

He doesn’t get a pass but I would be ok with him at 5 rather than anyone else on this rotation.

Better than Rios. Better than Andriese. Better than Workman. Better than nothing.

Workman has been decent hasnt he? I dunno anymore. The s*** is all blending together r I thought workman was looking ok

This team has to stop the bleeding. Again this is basically playoff baseball right now. Every loss could be a gain for the Yankees as well in the standings if they win.

When you post it that way, yes, he's the least of the worst.

I think Richards is the first to go honestly. He just has been flat out awful.

Players are peculiar people .Tonight may have humiliated them so who they are is up to them ! A bunch of Pussies hiding their f***ing heads because uncle Chaim says they are homely ???? Man f*** Chaim for sure f*** him and Henry for hiring such a wet behind the ears POS but f*** these players if they fold up shop f*** every last one of them and that includes Xander who needs to be.a f***ing Leader today .ohhhhh I’m angry at Chaim but I’m getting more angry at the leadership or lack there of on this team

Someone who wasn't a big baseball fan and didn't keep track of the standings would assume after reading these posts that the SOX were in last place. Moon said it best when he called this season, so far, magical. There's really no other valid explanation.

I'll give Verdugo this AB to make contact, before explaining his shortcomings

How many times has the little pissant grounded 4-3 in the past several games ? The one recent HR doesn't cover 97 guys left on base and in RISP

I think a lot of so called magic is actually illusions where your attention is misdirected

He was so decent that they DFAed him yesterday.

Brandon looks ok, big strong tall guy with a fierce look, but he just can no longer pitch worth a damn

For how long? This team has to stop the bleeding. These pitchers haven’t been poor they have been abysmal and that’s putting it lightly. I am just sick of them. It seems like they don’t hold themselves accountable for their ineptitude. They keep being inconsistently bad.

I’m also surprised that bloom is getting all this love. What has the guy won? If this team implodes there’s gonna be a lot of pressure on this guy in 2022. He could have one of the shortest tenure in GM history.

That this particular team is currently in 1st place may be the best magic trick I've ever seen.

And they will still be there tomorrow morning as the season reaches the 2/3rds mark. That is truly an achievement with some of the lackluster players who have been through the turnstile this year
