Which means nothing. He was on the 60 day IL a big part of the season; his AAA stint this year was more rehab than anything else.

 

He also pitched pretty well for the Jays last year (17 games) and was on their postseason roster.

All I’m saying is Hatch is not strictly a AAA call-up. Looks like he has a decent fastball, but is having trouble tonight with his off-speed stuff. He’s only got 30 innings in at AAA this year, so his outing will be short in any event.

Pivetta isn’t sharp and the Jays have hit him pretty hard this year; coming into tonight they gotten him for 14 runs in 17 innings in 3 games. Tonight seems to be more of the same.
