Perez a little lucky on that line out by Sanchez, but those two K's were impressive.

he struck out two Yankees. It's kinda what the Yanks do. Strike out and leave runners on third with less than 2 outs

As a Yankem hater, there's some satisfaction knowing that the Yankems are stuck with Stanton for a long time.

I have no issue with having a hitter who will hit 30+ bombs and OPS .850+ a season. My bigger issue is the cliff Lemahieu went off and the rest of the team absolutely sucking ass

Do you think they will consider a serious extension big contract for Judge. I'm sure Boone is gone and Chapman may not be far behind.

look at the BA's in the Yankee lineup especially Sanchez and that prick Gardner, .217 and .199 respectively. How could we ever lose to this bunch?

Yesterday's loss could be attributed to the 'blind squirrel' syndrome.

I think you meant Cashman. And, yes, they'll definitely want to extend Judge's contract. He's by far their best everyday player.

Duran's OPS continues to go up and down like a yo-yo. Early days.

Unlike the more experienced Dalbec, he has a better notion of where the strike zone is.

Kind of amazing he is batting 2d and Verdugo has been dropped to 6th, so today the lefty bats are again 2d, 4th, and 6th. Oh, and Cordero 9th (if that means anything).

If Stanton stayed on the field, sure. In the equivalent of 3 full seasons with the Yankees he has 61 HR. That's because of the missed time. And he's a DH.

I do agree he's not really that huge of a problem though.

Except for being injury-prone, he is kind of amazing in how well he plays right field (at his height).

MLB pitching is tough. Everyone got excited by Duran's double off Cole. I think that was his last hit.

When one considers how bad pitching is in the majors, one has to imagine what kind of pitching did Duran face in the minors?

Pitching is not actually bad in the majors, though. The average hitter is at 241/316/405 for a 720 OPS.

Crowd is particularly lively today. Been a few years since I've been to a Yanks-Sox game at Fenway and I don't remember them being so into it. Both teams' fans are in a good mood too

I think he will want some security so he will asked for some years with big money.

The pitching has looked thus far we shall see. The offense has to get going.

Didn’t realize yankees pitching has been so good lately. They’re hard to hit against lately. Sucks we blew yesterday’s game.

I feel we are better than them quite frankly. A split would be so disappointing after taking the first two.

Is Dugo going to be another Benintendi?

It would be interesting to know if other teams ask Bloom about Verdugo in a trade scenario. I imagine the answer is NO but what does Bloom know .

Agreed. We are definitely, our record is 9-3 against them and should be 10-2. Last nights loss just should not have happened with Nate pitching that good. Oh well, it happens.
