Yesterday was a crazy day for everybody. We should have had that game but bullpens can't be perfect. They won't hold every single lead. That's just how a 162 game baseball season works. All we can do now is try to take 3 out of 4 and hope we finally get some help from Tito's hapless offense in Cleveland.

 

I was banking on going to yesterday's game until my friend got sick, and then my dog died last night, so I just picked up some Student 9's for today. Going by myself, but I don't care. I need this for my mental health.

We were snake bitten, yesterday.

 

The Yanks got two bloop hits down the line and our two hits down the line ended up bouncing to the SS for asingle and bouncing into the stands to prevent a run.

Thanks. She had cancer so it wasn't a total shock but she had a seizure virtually out of nowhere yesterday afternoon. Hadn't shown signs of slowing down. It hasn't really hit me yet since I don't live at home with my parents anymore but it certainly still stings just the same.

This one will be high scoring. German will go 4-5 innings and allow 3-4 hits, at least 2 will be homers. All his peripherals beyond HR/9IP will be solid but he will allow 4-5 runs

Interesting stat on Perez. His unattractive WHIP this season is 1.477. His career WHIP is 1.477.

Sox won game 1 even with Ottavino coughing up 2 runs, then beat Cole in game 2 when our starter, ERod, left after getting just 3 outs and leaving 2 on and no outs in the 2d, but lost last night when Ottavino again gave up 2 runs.

 

My small take is this is just another excellent Yankees-Sox series even with the Yankees having a down year.

 

And now Perez coughs up a leadoff double, after which he K's Giancarlo Stanton.

look at the BA's in the Yankee lineup especially Sanchez and that prick Gardner, .217 and .199 respectively. How could we ever lose to this bunch?

A split would be disappointing to be honest with you after beating cole. Up 3-0. You have to separate yourself from the Yankees. Frankly we are better than them this season.
