With Arroyo likely out (and on the IL), I see this lineup tonight against righty Stripling: Hernandez 2b, Verdugo LF, JDM DH, Bogey SS, Devers 3b, Renfroe RF, Duran CF, Plawecki C, and Dalbec 1b. Verdugo, Devers, and Duran all bat lefty.

 

Against Pivetta, the Jay are going with: Semien 2b, Bichette SS, Guerrero 1B, Springer CF, Henandez RF, Grichuk DH, Biggio 3B, Gurriel LF, McGuire C. Biggio and McGuire bat lefty, all others righty.

Very RH batting order for the Jays. Almost as RH heavy as the Yanks. But I think the Jays are more aggressive hitters and get more 1st pitch FB's to hit because of it. They CAN hit.

Bloom needs to get a new manager in addition to a firstbaseman, a great starter, another bullpen arm, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I like Duran coming off 2nd slot, even leading off. He has the tools to hit there.
