I am not ready to concede that.

If they sweep us would you concede that? They have looked terrible against this squad.

Of course, they've had 10 innings to solve it and nothing learned. Maybe I should send an e-mail to the dugout.

That curve is starting at about a couple inches above the waist and breaks sharply at the end. Man I doubt at my best I would even foul that pitch off and probably would not be able to lay off of it either.....Does not break the way most curves break.

Notice the Valdez FB lands right where he starts that late breaking curve. Its just about unfair! I always thought pitchers were unfair. They should have just teed it up for me every pitch.

Yup, that's probably the nastiest curve the SOX will see this year. Too bad this guy was scheduled to pitch in this series. The SOX did miss Cole in the last series. Can't be lucky all the time.

This team has to pitch and hit. Perez gave them nothing tonight. Have to do both to beat the stros. Hope they get better pitching tomorrow.

This Valdez guy has never been a starter. It’s not like he had great years before this season.

Still think they have raised the seams on the baseball. Never seen breaking balls like we are seeing this year and it has been right from day 1 of the season from all the pitchers. So I am less inclined to think that they all have been using substance on the baseballs and more inclined to think that as the news has been claiming, they changed the baseball AGAIN, this time back the other way from the 2018-2020 rocket ships.

Andriese done good--3 innings, 1 run.

Yes he has! We likely won’t win but would be nice to show some life.

Dalbec reminds me of Mark Reynolds. Either a HR or nothing.

It's painful to watch Dalbec bat. First and third and no one out. You have to make contact. He just doesn't have the right approach.

Perez was due for a bad start. He's been pitching above his Peter Principle most of the season. And for that, I thank him.

Well said.

This stuff about perez due for a bad start. He gave us no chance. I mean I am sick of losing to the stros. Win tomorrow. I thought these guys would be chomping at the bit to get some revenge for the embarrassing series in Houston.

I say again--assume Perez has a good start as Pivetta did 6 days ago. The Sox still lose, 2-1. Valdez is hard to beat.

Perez has the SOX only win against the A-holes; you might want to give him a break.
