E-Rod is a perfect example of not just employing a pitcher's W/L record when evaluating his strengths and weaknesses. In fact, W/L may be the most deceiving of all pitcher stats. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

What does New Haven style consist of? I've only been to Frank Pepe's once and I live an hour away

What makes New Haven-style pizza distinct is its thin, oblong crust, characteristic charring, chewy texture, and limited use of melting cheeses. It tends to be drier and thinner than, but closely related to, traditional New York-style pizza. Both styles in turn are close descendants of the original Neapolitan style.

That explains it. I should get down one more time before I move. I don't even care if it's not vegan. It's worth it

I like ham and pineapple too.

However, on a pizza it’s an abomination.

My wife is pepperoni and pineapple all day. I either go plain or black olive and jalapeño.

Yes, ERod has not looked like himself.

I hope he regains his strength and abilities.

We have very little chance without him doing very well.

ERod lucky with that strike 3 call.

Afterwards, the ump did the right thing by walking away.

Edit - trying to walk away. Once Laureano threw the bat it was automatic.

It was said that Teddy Ballgame never argued with the HP chUMP on a bad call. He would just glance at him. I wonder how Ted would react if the umpiring was as putrid then as it is now?

Another SOX outfielder who had a terrific arm was Reggie Smith. Sandy Koufax was quoted as saying he was jealous of Reggie's arm.

Another one that "got away."

ERod pitching with a lot of guts. He likes his changeup but all 4 A's hits were off it. So he's throwing a lot fastballs. Good for/by him.

Incredible play by Renfroe.

And the hitting so far sucks.
