I've got that Extra Innings package and the Dodgers/Angels game was scheduled on the same station as this SOX game. The flyer on the bottom of the screen keeps appearing to let viewers know that that game will be seen in progress after the SOX game. Heck, it'll be the 7th or 8th inning by the time this game is over.

I know Valdez needs some work, but I thought we were "stretching out" Whitlock.

He went two innings and was solid. Valdez hasn’t had much lately at all plus we had a big lead. Might as well use him. Whitlock needed that, two pretty solid innings and get his confidence up. No need to put him in a close situation and have him diarrhea his pants and lose confidence.

Believe me, I’ve diarrhead before in public. It’s a confidence loser for sure.

I remember Matt Young's no-no in 1992. One of only 4 no-no's where the pitcher lost the game. Matt walked 7, and some stolen bases, errors and fielder's choices led to 2 runs.

Yeah! I think he had just a couple of bad performances but kid is legit in my book. Stuff is there but needs to keep working, learning and staying humble and he will be around for a long time.

Agreed!! Tonight was a good confidence booster for him. Valdez looked razor sharp too wow

Awesome win. See you tomorrow folks.

The best pitcher I have ever seen pitch, Pedro Martinez, never had a no-no, but he did retire the first 27 batters in a game before allowing a double in the 10th inning to lose the perfect game.

Night brother.

Solid win! Still best team in baseball.

In 1938 Johnny Van Der Meer pitched two no-no's in a row. Hasn't happened again since, but it may this year.

Now that’s a record that will never be broken.

I know this is off topic but can someone tell me what the hell is going on with the Dodgers???? They looked like they were prime for another World Series and now they have lost 8 of their last 10....

Injuries?

Baseball is so brutal and unfair at times.

Moon's damn smart even if he does live in Texas.

I tried to talk the wife out of moving here, but you know how that goes.

Today was so close. 6 outs away —which are the hardest to make though.

That and luck hasn’t been on their side lately.

Their RF'er is a cancer in the clubhouse. (sarcasm alert)

They just activated Joe Kelly: 4 ER in .2 IP.
