Dodgers probably feel extra jipped since the only time in the last decade he has looked like an ace was in the 2018 playoffs, against the Dodgers

It is a strange phenomenon. Some Sox fans actually hope that former Sox players ( even standouts who helped the Sox to win ) fall on their face and flop with their new team. Now , I can see it if they go to the Yankees , but that's about it. Otherwise, I do not understand the thinking. Price will have some trouble cracking the Dodger's stellar rotation, but I would like to see him do well unless he is facing the Sox. I certainly take no glee seeing him struggle.

1) It tends to reinforce the idea that we made the right move letting them go.

2) (Which is basically the flip side of 1) They don't like getting their noses rubbed in it that we were wrong to let them go.

I usually don't care much one way or another.

 

Guys like JBJ, who was my favorite player, I root for, even though I argues against bringing him back at that high of a cost.

 

I wasn't a huge fan of Beni, but I hope he does well, except vs us.

 

I hope Porcello gets a chance some where and does well.

 

Price, Kelly, Kimbrel and most of the others I can think of, I don't really care about.
