Am I more concerned than I was at this point yesterday? Yes. I would love nothing more for this team to be respectable this season. But, do I care? Not a wink. After 2020, I am so glad just to have sports back in a fuller capacity, with all the sights and sounds approaching a more normal level. And, in 58 days, I will fulfill a dream and move to Boston. I don't care how bad we are, I still can't wait to go to games all summer long. And I'm a fan of the game. There are other teams and othe players that I will always root for. The Sox being good has always just been an added bonus for me.

Ya I think so. When some on here said they thought we could hit a wild card spot, I didn’t want to say much but we have a long way to go. But a win over Baltimore would be a good start hahahahaha

Honestly I had/have very mediocre hopes for this season. But I guess there is some positives. Houck and Eovaldi looked good. The offense isn’t this bad, and it’s extremely early. I’d give a little more time before completely giving up.

I’m not too worried yet. Was hoping to win this series as we have a tough road ahead after this, but meh. This will get it going.

Because of blackout restrictions on Extra Innings, I am stuck with watching O's games on the local cable channel. Thankfully, Thorne is no longer a part of that team. However, I think whoever that is that took Thorne's place is awful. Terrible.

 

I can't wait to have a NESN broadcast.

LOL I expected our defense to be a concern.

 

Very short sample on both sides, but so far, I'm very pleased with what I've seen from our pitchers, starters and relievers, and rather frustrated with what I've seen from our offense.

 

We need to stay healthy. If we can stay healthy, we have a good shot at the playoffs.

Means is a good pitcher. Today there was no excuses. It happens. In fact didn’t the Yankees have a couple games last year against Baltimore where they struggled to score one run. Yes they did. Twice in a row.
