No worries, won't be seeing him in anything but a PawSox uniform anyway.

For a guy who will never play for the BOSOX, people on here have obsessed over him for too long. He doesn't impact the CBT. He isn't in the way of any prospects. Who cares?

@PeteAbe

Tanner Houck put three men on base over two innings but held a solid Rays lineup scoreless for two innings.

I actually remembered to record this one.

@alexspeier

(Eovaldi) recorded all three outs by strikeout in his second and presumably final inning of work, mixing in a good number of sliders. Two innings, two singles, four strikeouts, no runs.

And he took a hit off his foot -- 6 weeks on the DL?

Pawlecki showed off a good arm at C.

Tagging on a liner to LF really showed Duran’s speed. That’s why I wondered if his upside this year is 2007 Ellsbury.

TOM Eshelman pitching for O's. Weird because Vaughn Eshelman's name came up recently and Tom appears to be the only other MLB player by that name, but no relation to Vaughn.

Dalbec gave $200 to Houck to switch seats on a flight going to Japan. Houck used that money to buy samurai swords.

Thought they stopped doing that?

I brought it up sarcastically saying that Bloom had signed him. I got a chuckle when I saw the starting opposing pitcher today.

To clarify: only two players with last name Eshelman in MLB history.

There was also a pitcher named Pete Eshelman, who pitched for one year in the Yankee farm system before being derailed by an injury. Pete later moved to Massachusetts and took a job working with my father. When I sustained my own baseball injury (taking a ball squarely in the eye socket), my dad told Pete, who then presented me with a baseball autographed by Mike Heath (valued today at the cost of a used baseball with graffiti on it)...
