the Pen has been fine for the most part all year. kind of tough when you are constantly brought in to the game in the 4th or 5th inning already down 5......

Plus, we remember the blown saves more easily than how many times the pen kept us in games we later won after the starter was bombed.

It seems like that's the mirror opposite of last year, possibly not in the quantity of runs but in the fact that it seems like last year our starters frequently had a lead early in the game. Now they're behind and pitching for their lives.

I heard some number the other day and I cannot even remember whether I was listening to the radio or watching the TV or what the f*** I was doing. That didn't stick...but the numbers stuck:

We apparently won 52 games started by Sale and Price last year. This year.......13 games!
