Watching ERod bat should be a scream....worth staying up for I think.

How often have the Sox and Yanks been on the West Coast at the same time? And both playing interleague for that matter. Baseball fans in CT are screwed regardless. Too many late games

Well there is one thing I can say for this year's player's weekend unis....they are light years better than the weekend beer league softball unis they wore the last two years.

I suspect this is the players comment on how crappy those unis were or their take on what fans thought of those unis.

The blacks are better than the whites. I thought we would be able to wear those metallic red belts the Braves have with their black unis...why not I wonder??? Those belts really make the black unis.

Braves/Mets in a real pitching dual 1-1 into extras. MLB announce team commenting on how refreshing it has been to see pitchers actually CHALLENGE hitters for a change. I agree completely!!!

Well we're up 3-0. But the real goal is to keep the losses at 61 since both TB and Cleveland have won and Oakland, by some strange MLB fate, has the day off--yes, on Friday.

Glad they're on the west coast. Nothing else on TV tonite.

Stephen Colbert is the only thing I watch at night (1st 17 minutes of it) but it's re-run week... dot dot dot

They must have given the teams and players some discretion on what they are wearing. The red belt I have seen some of the Braves wearing is sort of a metallic black cherry, much like the color of the bat Erod brought with him to the plate. Really neat look with the black unis IMO. Not real amped up over the red belt Holt is wearing.

Sox should have been allowed a dark red B against those matt black helmets too.

Sox already doing much better in these unis than they did in any year of the beer league player's weekend unis.

I say we wear these forever

Funny, I like the whites better. Was watching the Marlins earlier and they looked ok.

If E-Rod pitches every game from here on out, we MIGHT have a chance at the playoffs

I’m down with that! And keep riding out these black jerseys!

I couldn't stay up last night to finish watching, but just finished now.

Wow for ERod. 93 pitches for 7 innings. Is that a record for him?

Bats are strong as ever.
