Meanwhile Kimbrel is killing it in Chicago. Getting saves left and right

And yes Toronto came back lmao.

I hate to say it mainly for the number of times we were frustrated by Kimbrel's inability to throw strikes and exhibit command when he needed to exhibit command but even last year's kimbrel had better command than most of these jet fuel merchants whether they are wearing our laundry or anybody else's laundry.

Throwing 98 smack in the middle of the strike zone impresses nobody, especially the hitter.

Not having Kimbrel has cost the SOX at least 7 games in the standings.

And it's still fine, because 3 outs from now, we'll be in the WC

Eidetic or photographic? They are different.

Photographic technically isn't a thing. Common misconception. Google it, or as we youngins say, GTS (Google That s***)

Don’t have to; I know what they mean. Everyone has eidetic memory to some extent; it’s how long you retain the images that differentiate between degrees.

Workman has proved to be pretty solid. But I agree!

Maybe Workman should just be our closer. He’s been pretty solid.

That was the best choice a month ago and I don't think that situation has changed.

Work is not one of these jet fuel merchants. Nate IS! Kimbrel IS.

Barnes and Workman just ain't enough BP.

That is correct. Simply not enough there to keep those two guys from being overworked. Nate will help but I still don't hold out much hope for him as a closer and DH is probably still too young to be relied upon as a solid, high leverage pen arm. We probably still need one more pen arm even with Nate in the pen.

Too bad we played those London games, we might otherwise have 6 straight home wins vs NY--by tomorrow, that is.

If I had told you before this series started that the SOX would only score 38 runs in the first 3 games of this series and be up 3 games to none, would you have believed me?

I could've believed the 38 runs, but not winning the first 3 games. I was hoping for a split at best, especially since the Yankees just took 2 out of 3 in Minnesota
