Price doesn't have anything. He needs to hold them at least for 2 more innings

Break out those orioles . With their 29-66 record.

The days of players being punished for making mental errors/lack of hustle have long been over.

It’s hard to do when you have 3 bench players including the backup catcher.

It doesn't have to be done a lot. Maybe once or twice. Just enough to send a message that if your head isn't into the game when you are on the field then you can sit down and watch the rest of it. The alternative is allowing this debauchery to continue unabated, and thats not going to get this team into the playoffs. Maybe nothing will. But its worth calling out some of these guys when they dog it out there.

I'm sorry, but I think you jumping on the wrong guy. That Oriole did get a hit even if it wasn't a triple, it was probably a double, and the next Oriole singled. In any case, Price has given up 4 earned runs and is unlikely to go beyond the 5th inning. Any intelligent fan would direct his anger at the real culprit in this game.

Whoops. A 2 run dinger to LF. Time to blame Travis for not trying harder to catch, but never ever blame good old Price, who gives his all and is barely paid a living wage.

Tip your cap to Means. He's on a s*** team, but he isn't s*****.

True but he can be hittable. Th rays did a nice job the last start hitting him. Again we are seeing what this team is. A lousy inconsistent bunch.

An intelligent fan would notice that JBJ failed to back up stone hands. A fan with just average vision would notice Price is having a miserable night.

Price would be doing just fine if he got just a little help from the defense--and some hitting of course. Price is the man.

And that is what happens to the change when the pitcher does not pronate. That is exactly the opposite action you expect from the change. Just an awful pitch. More like the way Price was throwing them at the start of the year.

As for JD, are we done with him in the OF yet?

Its pretty clear that Price has sucked tonight. I mentioned that he had no command a long time ago. I blame Bradley for not hustling to back up Martinez on the play. Price is having a bad game, but not hustling is inexcusable. After this loss we will depend on the likes of Rick the Prick and Cashner to win their starts. Not going to happen. We will lose this series and may well get swept.

He thinks everyone on a lousy team is a lousy player. But then, I know nothing about baseball.

Before his bad performance against the Rays, Means was 2nd in the AL with an ERA of 2.50. When are you going to accept the fact that good pitching will beat good hitting?

None of them have done a good job out there this year of backing each other up. NONE OF THEM.

Yes but you can get good swings on a guy even when he’s pitching good as you say.

You get full credit for great eyesight. Well stated. But I honestly don't care whether JBJ or JDM screwed up because that faux-dinger was always going to an earned run regardless of how it was played. The Orioles have 6 runs because of one guy and one guy only.

That’s true; there were a bunch of issues back in April for sure.
