There goes that.

f*** this pitching staff

You were expecting a shutout?

Solo homers don’t usually hurt too much. It’s four bases and the pitcher starts clean. Spread those same 4 bases over 4 singles and you have a run in and the bases loaded or 2 runs in and still 2 guys on.

I think what he was expressing is the consistent horrible performance by our pitchers (nearly all of them) and using this as an example. Your team gives you the lead and you immediately surrender it. Its the reason this team is very unlikely to make the playoffs this year. You cannot win with the kind of pitching staff we have.

Erod is not doing badly. He has tamed that Change and has it acting like he wants it to act, When you consider how poorly the rest of them have pitched, ERod looks like a Star. Edited by jung

Not sure what I was expecting just hate seeing a lead go in an inning.

E-rod, compared to the other 3 regular starters, has definitely given the SOX more bang for the buck .

They score for him. His stats aren’t that great but they score when he’s pitching.

Bogaerts has got to make a better throw than that...mental error. Again.

Disagree, I don’t see that as a mental error; that’s a physical one.

A mental error is throwing to the wrong base or a pitcher failing to cover first on a right side grounder.

I was on one board years ago where to identify sarcasm one would use italics.

I've seen it done online by using /s/.

Or a runner trying to advance from 2B to 3B on a ball hit in front of him. (Not that I hold a grudge). :)
