Pitcher did not even have the excuse of throwing to 2nd from the mound on that one. Just heaved a shot put to 2nd base.

Last year the O's could not hit, could not pitch and could not field. So far, I don't see a dif other than MAYBE a little better pitching....microscopically better.

IMO Davis's problem is that the pitchers are throwing waaaaayyyy too many breaking pitches now for that rocking chair swing of his. That is as much a timing swing as I have ever seen. You will never see Chris Davis now or then being able to keep the bat back when he is fooled and make something of it. He just cannot time the breaking stuff and has lost so much confidence now, I just don't think he is able to hit anything.

Orioles announcers keep playing the interference and saying there was none. I think it was obvious.

Sox second string pitchers are showing a lot more heart today than the first string lineup.

O's fans so busy eating their crab cakes, they can't be bothered to boo Chris Davis.

Crab cakes are pretty good.

If I am not mistaken, they are mistaken. I think the call was running inside the baseline....way inside the baseline. You don't have to mug an infielder while you are way out of the baseline to be called for it. When out of the baseline you are inherently "interfering" with the play on the field because you are not where you are supposed to be.

Yes it was interference. Yes, the umps made the right call by the letter. What it should be, though, is a dead ball and out right there. That run was already across prior to the interference.
