So happy the US Open is this week and the Travelers is next week so I'll have 11 days of excuses to not watch this team

Texas punching us in the mouth early.

Porcello doing his best to suck out any mojo before the game even gets going.

2 strike, 2 out hitting, especially with RISP, is supposed to be one of the toughest chores in baseball. Rangers just got 3 hits in a row with that, scoring two early.

and isn't that the very description of ERod Disease.

I know that it's the bottom of the 1st and the score is 2-0 Rangers but I am already thinking... "Are the Red Sox capable of coming back"

9 innings of ball left and I am wondering if we can score three or four today. That's where I am with this team. No life.

I hate sounding like a morose type here but this last week has been abysmal. Thank God for Hockey.

Erod gets it done by short arming, decreasing velocity and aiming it to boot. Rick does it easier, middle-middle layups with little or no movement on the ball.

They don't pitch the same. But ERod's biggest issues seem to be at 2 strikes and he definitely works his way off the edge and into the meat of the plate, the way Rick did in the 1st. Hopefully Rick does not continue. He does not need to add Erod's problems to his own.

Amazing how that is. Sale and Price are pitching like aces.

Yup it's astonishing that we can't win when Sale gives us 7 innings only allowing 1 run. That is how bad this team truly is.

My @ the game mojo has sucked this season. I am hoping to turn the corner tonight.

If Rick avoids a multi-run Porcello, he will be okay.

Assuming our offense can put up another couple runs. That’s a tall order to ask of this team lately.

JBJ is still under the mendoza line mid June.

But his OPS is about 190 points higher than it was in April. How can you be unhappy with one of the hottest hitters on the Sox ? Also note how Betts covered Jackie's steal, sacrificing himself. meanwhile back at the ranch Benintendi has decided to join the game with 2 good hits and an rbi

Alright. We got one. Let’s do it again.

Mookie is still stinking. Benintendi is stinging the ball today.

Dude is in a slump and I think it’s starting to get in his head he will break out of it eventually but damn it’s ugly right now.

As soon as Beni starts hitting, JDM decides to take a side trip to the dumpster. Just astounding what he is swinging at today.

I'm not ready to say "that's how bad this team truly is," but I do agree that was a crushing loss. The bullpen stunk, of course. But Leon's PB and error let 1 unearned run in. And after Beni's 2 run dinger the in the 1st, the offense produced just 1 run in the next 10 innings.
