This guy is great. Had a solid 5 ERA in AAA. Has a 90 MPH fastball, no control and the Reds who are stacked with pitching released him. I can definitely see why Red Sox would not only sign him, but start him in majors

One of our older fans hit the nail right on the head. This year's team is so reminiscent of the Sox teams of my youth. Slug feasts bracketed by games when we were just whitewashed by some pitcher that could actually pitch. IMO we are going to have to hope that the Yankees, Rays and every other decent team in this league bumps along at just over .500 ball. What are the chances of that?
