Red Sox winning 9-0... Betts, JDM and Bogey 0-11. Trade them too

Funny, the lefties are killing it while only Chavis has gotten a hit out of our righties. Baseball is a crazy game.

Betts is definitely in a mini slump right now

I'm with you on the 'deeper breath.'

For one thing, I would not swing out of my shoelaces as much as Chavis does. That is not helping him as it only makes the holes in his swing that much larger. Then I would work on why he simply is hopeless on FB's from the waist to the top of the strike zone. That is a massive hole in his swing and virtually any ML pitcher can throw a FB between the belt and the top of the strike zone. If you can't hit a FB, you don't belong up here.

Once he closes off that hole in his swing, however long it takes, then he can start working on the low and away which also eats him alive. If he tries to work on both at once, he will fail. If he tries to work on the low and away before solving the FB from the belt to the top of the zone, he will fail. Gotta' figure out how to hit a FB first. Might be too anxious. Might be too concerned with hitting every ball a mile. I don't even think he is seeing the ball because he is missing it by a mile, usually swinging when the ball is past his bat and virtually in the catchers mitt. He almost looks like he is looking to see where he hit it before he hits it.

His ghost lives here.

Swihart's Ghost---No way, LOL.. That was a gutsy screen name for our man here to go with. I give him credit.

I can't believe that we are throwing putting out that bag of trash Weber again.

It’s really annoying we are starting AAAA bums. But I guess Weber is better than that Josh Smith dipshit

Pretty fair assessment of Chavis' swing. I would leave the low and away til the last because I see guys like JDM, Betts and Bogey still chasing those. You are right, get the upper zone FB first. To do so he may have to conciously lower the launch angle. The 10 long distance HR's early on helped the team but not Chavis who thought this would go on forever. He really should watch video of Devers from his early days through the current Devers to get a clue.

Let the bats win a game with less than stellar pitching. That was DD's game plan going into the season.

Tommy Tutone just notified me that that's the wrong number. It's actually 867-5309. Sorry to anyone who has called.

Dialed that number, cold call, using the Las Vegas area code and now have 2 pizzas on the way from about 275 miles away. Should be here by midnight, might need to rewarm a little.

Any predictions on Weber’s line tomorrow? I say he doesn’t go more than 3 & 1/3 giving up 3.

I'll stick with 4 innings (maybe +), 5 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, 3 K's.
