They have to have given Vaz a hit on his, right? Not that ESPN will tell us one way or the other EVER.

i would assume so. It would’ve been close race between Vaz and CC at 1B either way

The league needs to make CC field his position. He did not have a single putout at 1B last year in 27 starts. He can't field his position anymore. Cy Young retired because he couldn't field bunts. CC can't field the position either. Vasquez was going to beat him to the bag. That law of the jungle rules in baseball. Do you know what you call a lion with a limp? A meal.

BTW, how dumb is Nunez on the bases?

Unbelievable....ESPN finally gets around to telling us that the Vaz grounder was scored a hit and that devolves into a discussion that it should have been scored an error.

Can't really defend Nunez on multiple baserunning mistakes , but who in the lineup got a well placed hit to RF side to bring in the run. Look elsewhere before complaining too much. Nunez's mistake was guessing wrongly that the throw would go through to 3B, instead of being cut. Yamkees executed and Nunez got caught.

I did notice Vaz and chavis going first to third on singles which Mr Betts has not done on multiple occasions.

Nunez ran into an Out, while the Sox were maybe getting a rally. Stupid. Watch the next batter get a base hit. Not the point of complaining, its about smart baseball, that's all.

If Nunez can create a run down situation Chavis might able to score. He's freaking s***.

Agreed, when he realized he was dead, he should have turned back towrds first and made them chase him. Not praising him, except he did get the rbi hit.

What are you talking about? Betts goes 1st to 3rd all the time and would’ve on both those plays...

No, another f'ing K, not a hit.

This ESPN crew is an example of why Vin Scully liked to work alone.

Haha.. they are today’s progressive baseball. And they think that they are excellent.
