Btw, why didn't Cora allow Price to go 7? Is he still resting these guys for the PO's?

Probably because he was at about 95 pitches and has had one start since he came off a month on the IL. IIRC, Price also seems to face trouble when he gets up around 100.

Did not see this game restart. Came back in time to see Walden get bailed out by Barnes. But If bullpen arms were designed to succeed every time out they wouldn't be bullpen arms. Myself, have very limited to no confidence in Brasier. Still think Barnes is the best relief arm Cora has. Still say bringing in Hembree or Work with ducks on the pond is living dangerously and continue to think it makes sense for Cora to push the younger guys along looking for more guys that he can hand the ball to with ducks on the pond and more guys he can hand the ball to later in games.

I will however repeat that this team lives and dies with its Rotation and the team has to work around that core principle and all that comes with it or it won't work at all. If the intended 5 including Nate can stay healthy it is likely the best Rotation in the AL at least.

It is easy to forget that scoring from first base is a 90 yard sprint, with 2 sharp corners. try it sometime.

If I tried it, they'd have to do a chalk outline of my dead body between 3rd and home.

Can this bush leaguer lock down a 3 run save.

Well if he can’t that means Hembree comes in with guys on. That’s not a comfortable place to be for the home team.

With this current BP consistently getting 5 or 6 innings from the starters isn't going to cut it.

At this point in my life I would end up looking like a tranquilized hippo laying there snorting into the clay somewhere between 2nd and 3rd waiting for my trip to the zoo and hoping the place at least had a nice mud pool for me.
