5/26 SOX @ Houston

Good win and very good 6 innings by E-rod. Having a rookie catcher catching Verlander helped the SOX. As did Houston having their two best hitters absent, but that's the way the ball bounces. Hopefully, WTF CORA allows Devers to remain in the 3rd spot. Sox still missing a lead-off batter. Lastly, it was encouraging to see Pearce hit the ball hard today.

 

Robinson Chirinos isn't a rookie, he's a 34 year old veteran and has been a very good catcher during his career.

Big week and a half for us continues. Gotta take at least 2 out of 3 from Cleveland here. I had an opportunity to be at Fenway on Wednesday, but decided against it, since I will be in the Bronx on Thursday.

I agree it's a cheap shot, but not really monumental. I will refrain from that in the future.
