Not agreeing with the HP ump but I don't wonder if he is just looking for some sort of safe zone. Lets see:

- I have to hear them barking at me when they are at the plate hitting

- I have to hear them barking from the dugout

Now I have to hear them barking at me while they are headed for their defensive positions too! I call FOUL.

Elvis Luciano , JBjr has left the building. With a walk to Pearce, an HR to JBJr and then another walk to Leon, Elvis completes the ultimate trifecta of poor pitching. This guy must be truly awful

Beni looks like he's lost a few pounds. Maybe he was constipated recently. He does love to hit that poptart popup though

Hopefully the happiness will continue after JBJ's next at bat.

Hopefully JBJ won't conclude that the swing he took at that is the answer to his hitting issues. After watching him all these years I have convinced myself that nobody has weirder ideas about hitting than JBJ....NOBODY. I would believe he could convince himself of just anything at this point.

Yup; the win, place, and show of awful pitching.

Cora does put out some surprises. Bringing Workman as the first reliever after Price's 5 innings , in a near blowout is odd to me. Isn't this more a Brewer/Thornburg spot ? Or even 2+ innings from Weber ?

That HR by JBJ increased his HR total for this season by infinity.

Some good, funny comments. That blast did draw Jackie into a HR Derby deadheat with the late Blake Swihart, Sandy Leon and Eduardo Nunez. And Steve Pearce is ony 1 behind that crew.

I had McDonald’s for breakfast. Paying a hefty price in the bathroom right now. But sounds like we haven’t blown the lead or anything so that’s good.

At least you're in the crapper today and not the SOX.

I don't have the stats ready but chances are the Astros pitching may outrank Toronto's. At least our guys are showing they can pound inferior pitching pretty well.

Looking at Toronto's BP, they might have some interest in Thornburg and Brewer.

You are killing me with these sharp , fact based, analytic observations
