As this team is constructed right now, no way. The SOX definitely need a real closer, plus the starting staff is, too be kind, FRAGILE, except for Porcello.

JBJ is, imho, not the problem. The one and two hitters are a bigger problem right now. I just wish Cora would put Betts back at lead-off.

Our pitching performance tonight shows us how well Porcello pitched last night. No comparison. Their pitching has cooled off our hitting. Only Betts, Bogey and Vasquez hit well last night and we are off to a weak start. Some of our guys look overmatched. Maybe they will come to life but the hole is a big one.
