It's the same every year. He has one good stretch a year and everything else is garbage at the plate

Well Eovaldi made 45 million just having a good playoff run. Aside from that he was meh

Due to the money involved, Pedey has no incentive to retire. He can keep earning $10 million a year by trying to rehab the knee. The Sox need to come to him with a deal of some sort that would be worth his retiring. Maybe a well paid job in the organization with a lifetime contract.

Just tuned it. Man betts is 0 for 3? Didn't he say couple days ago he needed to get going and start helping the team? I remember before the playoffs last year he said we needed to take our game to another level and then proceeded to drop his game to another level. I don't think Betts has that "it" factor like Brady or Trout. Let some other team pay him 300 million dollars.

He has no clue Rico. Totally lost. As are a few others holding a bat this season. The team could carry maybe 2 guys at .200 level, but not 4 or 5 . Recheck these fellows at the end of May to give change a chance.

I would not blame the Red Sox one bit if they declined to give him that kind of money. I think you need to be consistently great year to year to warrant that contract. And yes I do believe the Phillies were dumb giving Harper that kind of money.
