JBJ really has to take what he can get. My hoping he would get the ball in the air when he needed to was just that...hoping. Even a K brings Mookie to the plate with 2 men on. But JBJ is just not the kind of hitter that can lift the ball on command for a lazy fly ball especially against a LH pitcher the caliber of Kirshaw.

It was a good AB. He hit it hard. The mound slowed it up a bit a redirected a high hop to Machado.
