Kimbrel got the job done but he’s cutting half of my life with his cardiac pitching.

He absolutely did not get any job done. His teammates bailed his sorry ass out, Betts and Beni

If Workman pitches you might as well forfeit. He sucks. They will crush him.

How about...

ERod 2, Hembree 2, Prcie 2, Barnes 2, Brasier 1

I agree, but they showed the rule and technically, it's all about where Betts' glove was when contact was made with the fan.

I thought his glove was on the field side of the ball or just at the fence, when first contact was made.

Right. & to me, NESN, & MILLIONS, the first hand that hit his glove was over the wall. I know the rule, & by the rule, the fan made contact over the wall.

In my mind, & by my eye, there is NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!

HAVE YOU WATCHED IT ON SLOWWWWWWWW MO?

Read it on ESPN, who interviewed Astro fan who caught the Altuve dinger, but was the attacked by Betts who climbed into the stands, took the ball, and claimed he caught it. A travesty that Joe West and the guys in New York think it was actually fan interference. MLB should be investigated.

Stop acting like I agree with the TBS clowns.

I said I thought contact was made before Betts' glove went over the wall.

The fan reached over the wall.

The TBS crew never even debated that fact.

Pedro meekly agreed with what's his name.

Stop this crap.

Kimbrel is toast.

Thanks. The reality is that he is lost on the mound, cannot deliver his FB in a spot or even a zone, relies on his breaking ball, not to set up his FB but to get outs, like an expensive version of Manny Del Carmen. I think his mechanics are awful and his head is empty. This game was pretty much for a ticket to the WS and he choked on a chicken bone, not that Cora should have run him into a 6 out situation when Barnes showed good command and a hellacious curve ball.

It’ll be interesting but hopefully he doesn’t feel the mountain of pressure and pitches good! The only good starts has been Eovaldi, crazy enough! Sale they said is not a definitive to start game 6. Not good he’s apparently lost a little more weight and he can’t lose any more weight. He’s a toothpick! I really hope he can comeback and be 70% of himself. That’s better than no Sale.

My bad Moon. I thought you were saying YOU thought he was in the stands when contact was made.

Again... my bad. I thought you said that.

I just don't get it! After Barnes came in to relieve Brasier in the seventh inning with two outs and struck out the one batter he faced, why did Cora not send him out for the eighth and save Kimbrel for the ninth?

Kimbrel gave up 2 hits and 3 walks. This is not the same guy that we saw last year.

Kimbrel is a choker pure and simple. When you start choking all your fundamentals go to hell.

It's all good.

To quote Gary Sheffield, "The call was the greatest travesty in the history of MLB!"

Pedro agreed, they got the call wrong.

Yeah man, how dare he be happy they won! I'm sure he wants to suck out there!

He may not want to suck, but he does. If he doesn't want to suck, change his mechanics and go back to the way he used to pitch shutdown baseball. Grow some f***ing beard and get real.

Ahhhh. Just re-read your post, & you clearly said you thought his glove was on the field side.

MEA CULPA MAXIMO!!!@ :)

Glad someone else can see what's right in front of them

Watch the HYPER ZOOM on NESN, & it is clear that the fan reached over the wall.

Yes, the fans hand caused Betts' glove to close.

The fan was reaching sideways and out. It wasn't far over the wall, but it was.

It was a close call, but they got it right.

I'm waiting for Yankee trolls to weigh in.

No prob.

It was clear, but it was also very close.

Unless Barnes told Alex that he was not up to the task.. I have no explanation. I trust Matt a heck of a lot more than Kimberly right now. It feels like it’s just a matter of time until he coughs one up.
