We burned up the Astros pen pretty well for tomorrow. Verlander will need a complete game or to hand the ball to Osuna. I don't think that will happen. Our guys usually get to a pitcher the second time.

Stop this crap.

Kimbrel is toast.

I blame the genius Cora. No reason to not let Barnes start the 8th. Cora knows Kimbrel's history trying to get 6 outs. A complete panic move by the luckiest manager in baseball. His stupidity also lost the SOX the use of Price and Kimbrel tomorrow.

If you look at Betts, he jumped and came down in front of the wall.

His glove may not have been in the stands area. The fan was against the railing and reaching out a little or sideways.

The TBS crew is saying the interference happened over the wall, where there can be no interference.

Barnes had pitched 2 games in row before tonight, but he only threw 16 pitches yesterday.

Price will get another chance to do something. I never seen a guy get so many chances. This is his opportunity but i have no confidence in him. I would be ecstatic if he can give us 5 innings.

Btw.... those who say Mookie's catch was not an interference out... . Any way you slice it, it was an OUT! I watched it 20 times on SLOWWWWWWW MOOOOOO, & the first hand that hits his glove was OVER the wall.

OUT. OUT by interference, & out because there is NO WAY you overturn the call on the field. The correct call btw.

Huh? What rules? That was gonna be an out.

They are saying once a fielder goes into the stands area, there an be no interference.

I saw it in slow replay. He stuck his glove. He timed it perfectly until that fan closed his glove.

Yes, the fan reached over the wall, slightly.

The call was right, but the clowns at TVS even convinced Pedro they got the wrong call.

I feel that rule is dumb then. If a fielder can still make a play you don’t allow fans to get in the way of that. This might have been worse than Jeffrey Mayer. That was gonna be a great play by mookie.

I agree.

The point the TBS crew is making, is that if Mookies glove was over the wall, the rules states there can be no interference.

Watch the breakdown on NESN. OUT!

I agree, but they showed the rule and technically, it's all about where Betts' glove was when contact was made with the fan.

I thought his glove was on the field side of the ball or just at the fence, when first contact was made.

I'd go Hembree for 2, Workman for 2, Barnes for 2, Price for 2, Brasier for 1.
If Workman pitches you might as well forfeit. He sucks. They will crush him.
