Hey, the SOX got thru the 1st round finally and they did it against the hated Yankems. However, Houston is a different animal. I'm pretty sure if they hadn't lost so many everyday players to injury earlier in the season, they would have led the league in wins. With spineless Price pitching tomorrow, that will probably be the last game we'll see at Fenway this year.

 

I want more. Nothing’s guaranteed next year. You know the skanks will make moves and the rays will be a much better team. So sick of losing to this team. If they go quietly i am gonna be pissed. Take them to 6 games at least.

Cora gave up on the game when he decided to pitch Workman in the 9th. It’s ridiculous considering the game was 3-2

Of all the pitchers in the BP, he has shown nothing in the postseason. The others have at least had some good innings. Workman has been hammered all 3 times he’s appeared.

The one good thing by the Sox tonight was when Cora pinch hit in the 5th for Leon. Moreland looked awful at the plate, but still got the walk.

And made some key trades to upgrade what some perceived as their weaknesses (Osuna for the bullpen, Maldonado to improve their catcher defense, etc). They are really good team

Even if Astro’s didn’t get this last homerun. We just looked dead flat offensively. No way we could have won this game tonight even if Sale went 6 scoreless innings.

I've literally said Nunez sucks numerous times all season and don't want him playing. I said Sale was disappointing, our offense sucked and that putting in Workman was dumb.

If we play like this all the Astros will have to do is what they did tonight.....show up and throw their gloves out on the field and watch us fall apart.

 

This is as tight and as screwed up a game as I have seen from this team in a long time. They played with their heads up their butts the whole night. In fact, given what we have to consider as physical limitations for Sale, he was the highlight of the night. He went out there and struggled, had nothing, absolutely nothing and made the most of it he possibly could.

 

Cora rightfully would not let him face the top of the order one more time. Had to take him out all things considered. The rest of this team positively sucked ass. From Nunez's mistakes at 3rd, to Benni's little hissy fit to Kelly's hissy fit, to JD's little hissy fit to Mookies bombastically bad AB with the bases loaded, they sucked ass. They were a complete joke tonight. They played like they think the series started on Sunday, not Saturday. They better show up ready to play on Sunday or like I said, this will only get more embarrassing.

 

And before I forget, Price better show up.

Personally, I'd prefer Eovaldi pitching tomorrow with Price pitching the 3rd game in Houston. Less pressure for Price on the road, and for Price the less pressure the better.
