This is probably going to be the last big test for Price. He has struggled vs NY. If he posts another solid start, it would be the third in a row against PO teams.

Yup you said it. Big day for Price. His last start against the Yanks was pretty damn awesome. I trust he will perform well tonight.

The key is the first inning. He used to complicate himself entering in games vs NY. If he hangs a zero in the first inning, he will likely settle and we will have a good chance to win this one.

This is going to be a 100% positive game thread. If you come bringing in the typical GT nonsense, I hope the ghost of Ed Jurak haunts you until the end of your days, that your fingernails fall off and that your breath becomes so foul that the underpaid employees at your local Dunkin Donuts no longer serve you.

If you don't have anything nice to say about this 103 win team, f*** off.

That's a winning line-up right there.

I enjoyed last night even though their bullpen was way better than ours--but Eovaldi looked pretty good and the game was close.

I'm really looking forward to tonight at Yankee Stadium with two very good starters who have both had ups and downs this year. I hope jacksonianmarch drops by now and then.

As for our bullpen--if Price goes 6 or 7 and the Sox have the lead, I expect to see Wright and Kimbrel and no one else. i have dumped on Wright continually since that basesliding injury in 2016, but I am not blind. That ERA of 2.87 is a testimony to the return of the knuckleball. it's possible Cora will bring in Vazquez to catch Wright, but last time Leon wasn't too bad. I think he had a PB but no runs scored.
