Brasier has been deadly minus 2 outings. Hes the guy you want to bring in. Not piece of s*** hembre

He has been deadly getting clean innings. Cora pushed him to coming in with ducks on the pond and he failed not more than a couple nights ago. That said is he likely a better option than Hembree. But neither has proven to be a good option, certainly not better than staying with your starter until you just can't any longer.

They are all of them other than Kimbrel just playing Russian Roulette with too many rounds chambered.

Maybe Cora should have gone with Brasier sooner, but Brasier got hammered Friday night by not one but two doubles. It was last night's crew of Workman, Poyner, and Thornberg who pitched well, but they threw 1.2, 2, and 2 innings.

Yup, we got nothing

Notice Keuschel is still in there because, except for that fat pitch up in the zone to JDM, he has pitched well, mostly because he is keeping the ball down.

Now I will agree that with Brasier now up and in the game, I would not have gone to Wright here. What is Wright doing here in the 7th inning of a tie game????

When one looks at all the holes on this team, one has to be utterly amazed that this team is 50 games over .500. For that to happen there would have to be at least 5 s*** teams in the league. What? There is? Nevermind.

What the f*** is the matter with you ESPN...super slow mo the point where Altuve is hitting the plate and Sandy is tagging him. God even NESN does that.

Wright throwing knucklers in the 7th of a tie game. You have got to be kidding Cora.

So who would you put in? They’ve got to find somebody who can pitch in relief. No one has stepped up.

You could see Hembree’s problem coming because he didn’t want to throw a pitch after he got 2 strikes.

Should of stuck with Brasier.

EEI guys think we got a huge break on that. I tend to agree. Great play by Sandy to even make it close enough to get the call.

Huuuuuuuuge break. It was clearly safe to me.

I would avoid putting anybody in that particular situation. You just cannot trust this pen AT ALL in that sort of mess. Leave the starter in and try to give him a chance to get through it and then give your pen a clean inning next inning. That is all these guys are capable of.

Actually, you have to be kidding with your complaint. Wright is a bonafide long reliever whom the Astros haven't seen much of and who hasn't pitched in this series. In the actual event, he pitched well and got screwed by Phillips error on an ill-advised throw to 1B. Then Bogie did his best to screw him on an easy throw home that was way, way high. The only thing wrong with Wright in the 7th was the Sox defense, which was pathetic.
