On a related note, it's uncanny the number of times a manager pulls his starter after 5 2/3 innings, just short of the Quality Start. It doesn't really mean much, unless you're talking fantasy baseball.

Catching the end of the White Sox tribute to Hawk Harrelson. Some here may not have been fans of his, but he was an original that never fit any mold. He was entertaining and unique as a player and as an announcer. His expressions like ”He gone” and “You can put it on the board” were uniquely his, and he was second to none in creating nicknames for players. The homerism didn’t bother me. I always enjoyed listening to him — more so when the Carmines were winning.

Harrelson once said Yaz was the greatest Clutch hitter he's ever seen. Funny Players use the word Clutch, but Fans don't see it that way. In 68 was at the last game with my Pop, only got SRO, and he clocked one into the Net. Fans went crazy, great year by the "Hawk".

The originals of these were double knits with the expando waist band. Honestly its a matter of opinion but I don't think there was a single one of the unis from the double knit era that was worth a darn including the Red Sox unis. They were all ugly as sin.
