Oh for God sake NESN will you please tell us who is warming in our pen. Enough with the PR blather already. Tell us something that matters.

Whether Devers returns or not, 3rd base s/b Nunez's until he fails, which he may not.

You would like to think Devers could add something to a post season roster but not really. Too young....too early. He has had a decent year all things considered....all things being he is a cherub for God sake.

Calm down Lyons...The CWS are 54-81.

Probably would be worse if they didn't have 19 games each with the twins, Tigers and Royals.

Just got caught up live.

Lovin' what I see with ERod!!!!

Just what the doctor ordered. If Sale can come back strong again, I'm lovin' our chances this October.

Just lovin; it!

Extremely encouraging and much needed/appreciated Erod

Unlike those other 3 teams you mentioned and the O's and the Jay's, the ChiSox are heading in the right direction.

Giving some credit where due, Matt Barnes responds to the challenge with a good inning

Cora is going to want to push him to back to backs before it gets too late in the season to do that. Workman needs to be tried like that too assuming they still think Work has a shot at making the post season pen. Thorny is running out of time to get to where Cora wants him.

Doesn't help the CWS much this year but the O's and Jays are just way too old which is not a problem the CWS have. If the Jays are smart they will be happy to be rid of Donaldson and Granderson. Gotta get rid of Tulo and Morales is about to turn into a pumpkin as well. O's same problem really. Way too old or at least too many guys that have aged badly.

I'd be derelict in my duties if I didn't mention that the Netflix series OZARK has just included the complete season two to their schedule. I was addicted to season one because it had a BREAKING BAD vibe. If you haven't seen OZARK and you did like BREAKING BAD, please check it out.

I loved the first season and am looking forward to seeing season two. I wouldn't put it on the same pedestal as Breaking Bad, but it is very good.

I'm hooked on Merli, now and will watch it once I'm done. I'm also watching Better Call Saul.

So glad Rodriguez is back healthy and throwing well. We really need sale and price to come back healthy and throwing well also.

Then we can go get our championship.

I was wondering what to binge watch next on Netflix. Now i know. Thanks.

What is Merli and is it on Netflix? Better Call Saul is f***ing great. Of course my favorite character is Mike!

Merli is a show set in Barcelona. It has subtitles, which I usually hate. The language is Catalan, so even if you know Spanish, it's very hard to understand.

Yes, it's on Netflix. It's about a high school philosophy professor, yes philosophy in high school. It's very funny, great acting and some great plots.

Try it. (If you are a teacher, you'll like it even more.)

E Rod hasn’t missed much of a step!

12ks out of 17 outs for ERod.

Better than ever!

Hope he keeps it up. This wasn't an injury related to the knee that bothered him for years.

Now, on to Sale and his return!

Given the overall pitching and the hitting, I do not think you can overrate tonight's wins as anything but significant. Could be the start of a run towards securing the ALE early. But 4 up with 3 to go is just fine too.

Yeah I liked Ozark a lot. Good to know the 2nd sesson is out now. Last two series I’ve been diggin’ are Castle Rock (Stephen King series) and Sharp Objects (Gillian Flyn series from ... I think her first book?).

Yeah, Better Call Saul is great. Just so well written and well acted. And it was a brilliant choice to have Mike as one of the lead characters.

has Kinsler ever gotten a big hit?

Yes he has, Station. He had hits in the rallies in all 3 consecutive come-from-behind wins against the Marlins and White Sox you might remember from just a few games ago.

And he's been with the team less than 20 games.

Yeesh!

What a difference a good starter makes. I honestly think ERod has the best changeup on the team, but last night he threw a lot of fast balls--to good effect. I also like that Brasier had men on 2d and 3d with 1 out and no one scored. But the key was the first three innings when our lineup was basically mowed down and we sure needed that great start by ERod.

Right now our righty starters don't seem so hot. In fact, I think most of us have agreed that, if healthy, our three best for the postseason are Sale, Price, and ERod.

Yes, we need Sale, Price and ERod to be our iron troika. I'm not counting Porcello out either. Inconsistent but when he's on he's really on.
