Just saw that, yeah, hes likely done. What a fall from grace. From being a $100 million lock to probably not getting a QO

To be fair, his rise to stardom was equally meteoric...

If he's traded, there is no QO.

If I was Toronto, I'd offer a QO. It's a one year risk with super high upside. They could also trade him after he accepts the QO.

If he misses the better part of the year with calf issues and when he was on the field, he was a shell of himself, then I'd have to assume the Jays would need to play him for a half season before dealing him away. My bet is the Jays aren't willing to bet $18 mil on a guy who would surely take the QO for a rebuilding club

Give him QO, and hopes he declines it. The kid, that should be up this weekend, will be next 3rd Baseman. 19 year old Guerrero. Problem is his Defense, growing pains with him too. But, going to be a star. Cant wait to see him when we play the Jays in Sept. Yanks will get to see him too. Edited by OH FOY!

Jays are not going block Guerrero, he's gone either way. Just hope you get a pick for him.

He'll be 33 in Dec. didn't know he's that old.

I'd actually say no way does donaldson take the QO. He's 32 and probably not excited about the prospect of hitting the market again without at least exploring it first. He would defintely prefr a multiyear deal, and his chances are not as good of getting more years at age 33 next season anyway...

If Donaldson hits the open market, he has a strong chance of not getting more than a 1 yr deal anyway. If I were him, I wouldn't take any long term deals because the dollars won't be there. He absolutely accepts the QO

It looks like the Yanks talking to the Jays regarding Donaldson, next few hours will be interesting

I think the Yanks are looking into him as a 1b. Bird has sucked and Voit isn't necessarily confidence building, even though hes been good
