Damn that Price! Just when you thought it was safe to begin dreaming about the possible opt out, a stinker likes this comes along.

Right. A chopper and a bloop have "stinker" written all over it.

mookie gets a much needed HR and has now hit 2 hard. Beni rolls over on an outside pitch and trots towards first.

Atta boy Mookie

So what is up with Price...Hopefully just a bruise

I'm guessing he'll miss a couple starts; that's going to swell up. Won't be a DL stint with the rosters expanding Saturday.

Thank f*** that Erod is back this weekend.

Let's just hope he's really back; going to take a while for him to build up arm strength and he wasn't known for going deep in games before.

And we complain about Cora asleep in the dugout. Mattingly should not be managing anywhere EVER!

He is still in the dugout with that befuddled look on his face.

He is terrible.

That's what I thought. Marlin player needs to sell that better though.

Marlin players are probably too used to Mattingly dunce capping through games. "oh why does it matter if I think I was safe or not. Somebody would have to wake Don up."

After last night's game and no challenges on 2 close plays at 2nd, I think it's obvious Mattingly is either the dumbest manager in the league or he's trying to help the SOX win.
Dumb de dumb dumb.

What kind of velocity does this pitcher have? He doesn't look overpowering and they should be able to move up in the box a little and get a better shot at that change up.

I don't believe there's any love between Mattingly and the Yankems, and with the Marlins going nowhere, it wouldn't surprise me that Mattingly has no problem losing to the SOX.

You can take the man away from the Yankees but you can't take the Yankee out of the player. He was there waaaay too long to not have a lot of Yankee stench.

He manages this way all of the time. I wouldn't attribute even the slightest of subconscious motives to his managing.

HBP, WP, simple single equals a run, while Sox hitters still trying to find the key to Richards, except for Nunie and Mookie's shots

I don't get the love here fpr Velazquez. He's been giving up baserunners all year; it's now starting to catch up with him.

Valazquez is about the only guy they have with a proven resilient arm. But that is basically all he has going for him.

Once they get Valazquez out of there (probably next inning) this could get interesting.

Tell me which inning the "see ya" part will kick in so I can watch it. So far they are making Richards look like the second coming of Jalen Beeks. Squeaked one out last night and wishing/hoping tonight.
