Yanks have been playing garbage teams. It doesn't matter if they missing judge or not. They've recently played the Jay's, Marlins and now the Orioles. Worst teams in the league. We have the Marlins and white Sox coming so the Sox just needs to same against those garbage teams. Yankees will face better teams coming up

We swept the O's 4 in the stretch. They are about to sweep the O's 4 if they win tonight. The rest of the opposing schedules have been about the same since then. They had 3 with the CWS and I think we have 3 coming up with them. But the league is so hideous this year with the exception of 5 teams (including us). it really does not matter who you are playing if you are not playing one of those 5 teams. No way we should have been swept here for example regardless of this rotten dungeon of a park. Should have won one of the Rays bullpen game anyway.

 

Think we got a little ahead of ourselves on the strength of the MFY sweep at a bad time to do that.

If we face DeGrom and Syndergaard it's a different situation against the Mets.

Getting swept by the Rays is disturbing, getting swept in the way that we were is alarming. Poor hitting, poor pitching, poor baserunning. Time to see if Cora can reenergize the team.

Biggest challenge facing the MFY besides the games with is likely that stretch out west against A's and M's.

I have to say, I don't buy the "rays know Evo" argument. So the Rays know Evo and the Yanks didn't? Your in the middle plate your dead and Evo was in the middle of the plate. Most of our guys have been in the middle of the plate lately. Need Sale and probably would love to have E as well.

I admit I can be bad for that too. I though he looked pretty solid his first two starts. I’m surprised how awful he has been ever since. A huge disappointment.
